CityTech was really an expansion for Battletech. CityTech added a lot to the game including:
Buildings
Skidding
Roads and Bridges
Vehicles
VTOLs
Infantry
It also added some new weapons in addition to the basic 2nd Ed Rules' "Auto Cannon".

CityTech also featured some amusing fiction, and some pretty sub-par art (even back in the 1980's I thought it was pretty bad).
