My MegaMek unit, Soroyama's Savage Samurai. They were stuck Pascagula in the Federated Suns until they found the lost cache of the "Black Wings" mercenary unit. The GameLog shows what happened in our first Mission gamelog 002.html (186.34 KB) This shows the status of the 'Mechs after the battle Savage Samurai 002b.txt (10.49 KB) This is the MUL file for MegaMek. Savage Samurai 002a.mul (2.08 KB) We battled in the Desert Valley maps. It was a fun game, even though I lost my super-cool Shadow Hawk. Oh well. That's life in the 31st Century.

Another battle - another victory. I think it would have been a lot harder to win if the Zeus had not just walked off the field. When the AI sees a certain damage threshold, and the Mech is near a board edge, it has the Mechwarrior flee the fight rather than risk becoming dispossessed. Pre-Battle unit conditions. SAVAGE SAMURAI 001.mul (1.73 KB) Post Battle Damage report entitystatus.txt (11.47 KB) The play -by-play report gamelog.html (216.47 KB) The game also produces a "Salvage Report" for each battle. It's handy if you have MegaMek. I don't use MekHQ, so I just do all the RPG repairs, etc... with dice and paper, then update the MULs via the MegaMek lobby.
Post Battle Report Key: XX - In the Armor or Internal diagram means no armor remaining * - "*Standard Gyro", this indicates a critical hit to one slot. These parts can be salvaged and repaired. *** - "***Machine Gun", This item has been completely demolished, and cannot be salvaged or repaired. + - "+Medium Laser", the limb containing this item was blown off, but the item is undamaged.

Another day, another battle. Today the Samurai met up with a lance having an Atlas, Battlemaster, Mercury, and a Jenner. We used the terrain to the best advantage we could (a deep valley to the west, and a wooded mountain to the east). The Battlemaster took the longest, but we had pretty good positioning, and basically sat behind cover and blasted away at him. One nice thing about a Scorpion is that when behind partial cover, about half of the hit locations (the legs) are just ignored. Game Log gamelog.html (286.76 KB) After Action Status (two of my 'mechs will be in the shop for a long time) entitystatus.txt (9.57 KB)
