Hearkening back to the lost technology of the Star League, and foreshadowing the kind of tech the lost children of Kerensky would bring back with them, the 2750 had some very cool equipment (we all fell in love with the Gauss Rifle as soon as we saw it).
But the 'mechs were so UGLY (except for the Crab, Highlander, Black Knight, and maybe the Bombardier). Of course, the Kanga tank was wonderful, and the Warships were actually very nicely done (an a nice break from the technoform-bricks so common in Sci-Fi during that era)!
